Also known as NGC1023 is a magnitude 9, is a barred lenticular galaxy, which forms a group with nearby NGC 891, NGC 925, NGC 949, NGC 959, NGC 1003, UGC 1807, UGC 1865, UGC 2014, UGC 2023, UGC 2034 and UGC 2259.
It has a nearby fragment called NGc 1023a, but this doesn't show in my image.
This image was taken with the MX9 and my C6 telescope, and I took 10 x 240 seconds (guided).
I found the NGC's, and have imaged a couple of them, but Starry Night doesn't shown me the others, and one of them has shown up in my image, and I was wondering if someone knew what sits just above NGC 1023. (i think I have the orientation correct)
