Arp 85, M51 is made up two galaxies. NGC 5195 (the smaller) is magnitude 10.5 ands NGC 5194 is magnitude 8.4. 5195 has 3 faint "horns" which can almost be seen in this image, there is also an area of distortion in the arm linking the two galxies.

This was taken with the C6 and MX916 using 30 x 60 seconds images stacked in astroart and processed in photoshop
