I thought I would give Astro Pixel Processor a go at creating a mosaic, This was meant to be x 9 panls but SGpro decided not to do the last two. each panel was 3 x 5 min exposures using the Altair Hypercam OSC along with the Altair Tri Band filter.

Weather wasn't as good last night at home in the valley but was pleasantly surprised being only a cooled camera I had taken darks to match temp of the camera which was around 14 degrees.

When I bought the camera in May I had recorded 5 degrees with the Iris nebula so am looking forward to cold winter nights.

APP is excellent you throw all your frames in to one pot add some darks flats blah blah and it does it all stitching too

Mind you this image uploaded is only 25 percent the final image and even then my laptop coughed and told me that it could only produce a final image much smaller than the original so I shall have to reprocess using my 8 core PC with 20 gig ram

The other beauty of APP is that I can extract the HA OII from the image to create a Hubble colour image .
